This campaign captures the over-the-top, should-we-be-watching this spectacle of WWE with its most enduring symbol: the folding chair. We created “Grab a Chair” to draw attention to the classic wrestling weapon with a guerilla-style wild installation. WWE fans who see the ad placed outside Target Center, alongside real folding chairs hanging outside designed to look like makeshift tickets, will have the opportunity to literally grab a chair and take it home with them. They will then be prompted to use them as free tickets to an upcoming WWE match. There will be a designated front-row section for golden chair winners. Their seats? You guessed it, they’ll be the chairs they found. And watching strangers grab folding chairs and lug them down the streets in the name of wrestling is a great way to create buzz for the brand.
